Beyond Expectations

This was the perfect 5year wedding anniversary gift for my husband who summitted Mt Rainier the week prior. Thank you so much for your timely personal response in supporting delivery the day before our anniversary. He loved this and the coasters !

Arrived in Las Vegas with rare Rain & Snow! ;)

Pleasantly surprised to receive package with rain/snow in Vegas! Didn't come in plastic to protect wood from moisture, thankfully the kind USPS Lady placed box under dry chair to protect it, bless her!

Slightly larger than expected, huge +Plus, exactly as pictured but more beautiful in person. I'd love to know the elevation of the outer perimeter. Can't find any map data online yet that matches these contour lines, but I'm guessing the perimeter is around 6,000 ft.

I'm so happy that Sunrise is on this map! However I wish lakes were depicted, some of the tiny circles are in fact peaks, not lakes.

It's perfect! However if I could change anything, I would increase the size slightly, just an inch or 2, to include the entire Wonderland Trail. It's a real shame that much of this incredible trail lies just barely outside the border! If an updated version were released with TWLT and lakes depicted, I might just have to purchase another!

Almost purchased from etsy, but found that the SML website offered free shipping, so I was able to add the Coaster for just $3 more!!! ;) Coaster came in lovely hand tied gift box with handwritten note! = 6 Star Review status.

Very nice surprise to see engraving on back, "Tahoma" and elevation data. Wish there was option with no wall mount, as I don't know how strong of a bond it has and don't want it to ever fall and break!

Very cool, but less sturdy than expected

I saw the Mt Rainier topography carving in The Seattle Times and was SO EXCITED to finally find a gift my dad would like. He's planning to summit this summer with my brother.

I balked a little at the price, especially one shipping and tax were factored, but went ahead. Delivery was quick and it was nicely packaged but much smaller and thinner than I had expected. It was only about a 1/4-1/2 inch thick which made it seem cheaper looking.

It was still very well received, but I think making it a tiny bit thicker would do wonders for sense of quality.

Thank you so much for your honest review! At this time our laser cutter (that we use to make these pieces) limits how big we can make the wall art, as well how thick of materials we can cut through. Luckily we're working on upgrading our machine this year which will open the door to using thicker materials and creating larger pieces! We can't wait to share these new and improved wall art pieces with everyone soon :)
